Famous crooner Frank Sinatra was arrested in Bergen County, New Jersey on a morals charge when he was just shy of his 23rd birthday. More specifically, the police charged Sinatra with adultery and seduction. The FBI incident report stated, "On the second and ninth days of November 1938 at the Borough of Lodi" [and] "under the promise of marriage" [Sinatra] "did then and there have sexual intercourse with the said complainant, who was then and there a single female of good repute." He was released on a $1,500 bond for the charge of seduction and a $500 bond for the adultery charge. Both charges were eventually dropped. Turns out the lady wasn't single.
