Snoop Dogg was arrested for felony possession of a dangerous weapon after a collapsible baton was found in Snoop’s luggage while he went though the John Wayne Airport security line. The incident that happened on September 27, 2006, didn’t stop Snoop from boarding the plane. Although the baton was confiscated, Snoop’s attorney said that the baton was not a weapon but was merely a prop for a musical sketch. Snoop was sentenced to 3 years probation, 160 -hours of community service. This incident was one of many that led to arrests for Snoop in 2006. He was also arrested in April 2006 after vandalizing a duty-free shop in the Heathrow Airport. Snoop was upset because he and his group of travelers were turned away from the first class lounge. Snoop was also arrested in October 26, 2006 after airport security found Snoop parked in the passenger-loading zone while in possession of marijuana and a firearm. Snoop was also arrested on November 29, 2006 after he finished his performance on “The Tonight Show” for possession of marijuana and a firearm.
