North Carolina police arrested Mötley Crüe drummer, Tommy Lee, for assault and inciting a riot with ethnic animosity during a concert. In 1997, Tommy Lee was playing a concert at the Greensboro Coliseum when Mötley Crüe bassist, Nikki Sixx, allegedly made a racist comment to an African American security guard telling him that the crowd should attack him. Sixx and Lee then allegedly poured beer over the guard’s head. Tommy pleaded no contest to simple assault. He was sentenced to 18 months probation.
